RESCUER RAHAB In Joshua 2:15-16 the prostitute Rahab risks her life to harbor two Hebrew spies and to escape over the Jericho walls. Often in the Hebrew Bible it is societal outsiders like Rahab, who are the risktakers and supporters of God's plan for Israel. The prostitute Rahab is one of only three women listed in Matthew's geneology for Jesus.
