I Samuel 25:4-35 describes a gutsy lady defying her husband, who inhospitably refused to provide David's hungry, tired men with food and lodging. In this quilt we see her arriving with donkeys piled high with food, and David instead of attacking, offering a blessing to God and giving thanks to Abigail from keeping him from bloodshed that day.
