Judges 11:30-40, “In Judges:30-40 the warrior, Jephthah, made a vow..If you give the Ammonites into my hand, whoever comes out of my house doors when I return victorious..shall be offered up by me as a burnt offering..There was his daughter coming out to meet him with timbrels and dancing..she said, "My father..do to me according to what has gone out of your mouth...but grant me two months, so that I may go and wander the mountains and bewail..with my friends. At the end of two months, she returned to her father and he did according to his vow."
