The Lord's word came to Jonah..go to Nineveh..for its wickedness has come before me..Jonah boarded a ship going in another direction.. was thrown overboard.. and inside a great fish..prayed..and went to Nineveh.. preached.. declared a fast for the Ninevites sins..and they believed..God had compassion.. Jonah went outside the city & pouted..God provided a vine for Jonah's shade, then provided a worm to wither the vine.. Jonah grew faint & wanted to die. God said "You have been more concerned about this vine, though you did not make it grow.. Nineveh has more the 120,000 people who can't tell their right hand from their left..should I not be concerned with that great city.
