ICAHD Alternative Tour of East Jerusalem
The Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICAHD) offers tours of Jerusalem and the surrounding area making it possible for visitors to witness and interpret the changing political and physical landscape, which is particularly altered by the Israeli military occupation. In this embroidery an Interfaith Peacebuilder group is looking at a map and comparing what was and what is. They see the growth of Israel's illegal settlements and the construction of the wall that carves deep into Palestinian territory and hampers the movement of Palestinians within their own land. In addition to their alternative tours of Jerusalem, ICAHD provides educational resources for reframing the conflict and opportunities for rebuilding demolished Palestinian homes.
