In Exodus 1 we learn that after four hundred years in Egypt the descendents of Abraham are now slaves. I picture them making bricks for the pharaoh's enormous projects. I chose the same color for the slaves as the mud they are using to make the bricks, for this was where the majority of their life were lived. The red figures with whips are the slave overseers and are placed in the shape of a triangle representing the pyramids they are helping to construct as overseers and slaves.
